There are those who wonder how a dog can have cataracts one minute and not the next.  Well, like in humans, there are a lot of environmental factors that play major roles in our health.   If the foods we eat don't have enough antioxidents, then there is no way to nuetrilize the free radicals that ravage our bodies, namely, our DNA.  Once it is damages, there usually isn't enough building blocks to repair but if you add those lost nutrients and necessary antioxidents, much of the damage can be repaired.   I am a firm believer in the power of good nutrition and natural remedies instead of over cooked food that causes the body to work twice as hard to break down than if there were natural enzymes within foods to help and not over tax the body.    The other thing that I am trying to get away from is using salt softeners as it is VERY damaging both internally and externally.
