HAPPY SWEETEST DAY!

I woke up this morning and my husband rubbed my back and told me to sleep in as he would take care of the dogs so I could sleep in another hour.   At this point, I hadn't even realized it was sweetest day until an hour later, he beeps my phone and tells me to go out on the balcony.

Here he comes up the sidewalk with a beautiful flower arrangement in one hand, and box with my breakfast in it, in the other!   I ran to get my camera as it was so darn cute with him standing there holding them both up like Richard Gere in "Pretty Woman" LOL!   I still haven't downloaded the picture as I can't figure out what I did with the darn disc!  My camera is a Sony but it only takes a floppy and my laptop doesn't have a floppy drive so I have to download onto my desk top which is where I found myself without disc  Hhhmmm. Will just have to make do with a picture of the flowers until I can find the flippin' floppy!  He was just too cute not to share;0)

Our grandson, Tyler's ball team went 7-0 today, making them the league winners.   My youngest step son's half brother (you got that?;0), who is 13 came out to bow hunt tonight.  He was excited as he saw 21 deer and 2 of them were bucks.   I am glad he didn't try to shoot one since you really need to be excellent with a bow in order not to cripple the deer.  It is all too sad when they try to take risky shots during hunting season.   Very cruel when an injured deer tries to survive the winter.  The coyotes do enough damage around here. I am just glad that they don't get in with our herd.  It's funny to see the wild ones coming up to the fence.  Most of our does are gone to another breeder's and won't be back until Jan.  I wouldn't let Sally go this year.  I miss her too much when she's gone.  We had to put in the electronic tags that DNR is wanting in all of them by July.

Our big boy, Buck-ee and Georgie the Elk, like to sword fight through the fence.  I will be glad when Georgie gets more points so that he can't spikes through the fence as they are very long and might spear Buck but Buck is pretty good at blocking (he is the instigator;0).   We have one other buck who is last years fawn.  He is a 7 pt already.  The rest of the boys are button bucks from this year.    They are so beautiful to watch from the balcony off our bedroom.
