Today is a very sad day.  Our 5 yr old whitetail deer, Buck-ee is down with pneumonia and unresponsive and not looking good at all.

Could be a complication from darting him a few weeks ago to untangle his antlers even though we gave him an antibiotic at that time, he is in bad shape....

It is raining and cold and I hate to see him laying out in the wet rain so the boys propped him up on some bales of hay and I got a tarp over him that is tented up over his antlers.

We are very sad here at Romeacres....
