It is Sat. and the spaniel club dog shows are going well.  I have seen some nice dogs.  I would really love to see more with that beautiful movement of steady head, back, reach and drive that I covet so.  It is hard to duplicate and many are nice but you see the bouncy heads, the rolling backs, etc.  Still, all in all, there have been some very nice ones.  I enjoy watching the variety competitions best as they are finished champions and most have reached maturity.  THOSE are the ones to watch even though it is always good to see their offspring in the ring to see how they are producing.

Well, ASCOBS are in so must go watch the final winners for the bitch classes.
