Have you ever felt like you are in a nightmare that you just can't wake up from?

Last night, I let James, Joy and DeeDee  out for a potty but forgot to put them back in when we went to town.  They were in the fenced yard but unfortunately, one of them worked the latch lock and the gate was open and there were 2 dogs dead in the road.  James didn't knw what hit him but Joy was still alive but had serious head trauma.  She died some time later.

Joy was bred to Ch.Shadyhill's Joint Venture and R.A.'s FlyBy and Bye by artificial insemination as it to be her 3rd and last litter.

They were preceded in death by RomeAcres Freckled Frost, Monkey Face, Zach (a rescue, son of Ella), Sadie (belonging to friends) Phantom, beloved of Chuck Jackman, then Chuck himself passed away shortly afterward, Kallie, my deer fawn who was the grandaughter of Sally, and now my beloved  James and Joy, along with her precious babies whom we will never know.

My heart is so full of grief right now.   The enemy is a destroyer but God is merciful and the only way I am able to get through this very dark, dark year so far.
