Critter was sure glad to be home! This little boy has learned his lesson I think and isn't as quick to run away LOL! I can imagine what went through his mind after a 2 1/2 hour drive with people he didn't know and then car doors slamming when it's pitch dark and then dark shadows chasing him....poor Critter. I am just thankful that we were able to leave some traceable scents for him to follow back to the block that he came missing from.
Since his brother was up there all week, the couple decided to keep him instead which was actually the one that I had hoped they would choose to begin with ;0)
I will be looking for a special retired couple who want a dog that cuddles on them all the time, preferably with a FENCED yard even though, once he bonds, I think he will be velcroed to their side. Critter is neutered and will have a microchip before he leaves!!!!
I am glad he is home too. Sure makes me appreciate those "left over" pups much more now that we almost didn't have him. He is such a joy to have even though I don't need anymore pets as I have a house full. All my pups are so special.
