We have another owner/surrender rescue in our midst. My little tiny baby from Salina's litter 2 yrs ago has come back home to roost. Her name is "Pinky". I named her that because she was so small compared to her siblings that she reminded me of the little mice that are called "pinkies". Her owner went away to college leaving her mom with Pinky who unfortunately has severe allergies to animals.
I have switched her diet of course and will evaluate her strengths and weaknesses and either place her in another home or she will remain here with us, depending upon her eval. She is not a normal sized cocker and with the smallness of her muzzle and nasal cavity, could be prone to more breathing difficulties like a Pug or other short nosed breeds.
She certainly loves everyone and everything and is a very happy dog.
