well shoot!  I would have some cute Christmassy pictures to share but I can't find my cord to download them!   So, here is Lyla sent to me by Janet who adores her.  Lyla is one of the fab 9 born 1 yr ago this month...well, yeah, this month is coming to a close quickly....so is this YEAR!  WOW!

I truly hope and pray that 2009 will be a blessed year for, not only here at Romeacres, but for all you too.

I hope everyone had a marvelous Christmas!  We are still working on ours.  Since the kids have various places to go and money is often times very tight, we have traditionally had Christmas AFTERWARD so that everyone could hit the "after" sales ;0)  This year is no different but, it won't be here as my youngest grandaughter is allergic to animals.  We REALLY hope she outgrows this as she LOVES animals, particularly cats.

Goodness, it's been a while since updating my blog.  Well, 2 of the 4 boys have either gone or have homes to go to.  My two little bl/wh guys, along with Ebby, are still terrorizing the house and the cats;0)

We finally got our wood furnace that we have wanted for years.  We just couldn't face another expensive heating year and wood is in plentiful supply here.

I will get to go to Spaniel Club again this year and meet up with my friends from Canada.  A good friend will be driving down with me and that makes hubby happy.  Hope we have a room like we did last year.  It was HUGE and will accomodate 5 of us fairly comfortably. That is coming up NEXT week!
